These pants are literally everything I wear

I simplified my wardrobe by wearing the brown TRU-SPEC BDU pants for everyday, they are amazing. All the pairs I've bought have lasted much longer than expected, some pairs are 8 years old and still look pretty new despite heavy use and hundreds of washes. I recently bought a new pair in a smaller size as I've lost a lot of weight lately and needed something more fitting. The only weak point of these trousers are the integrated loops for adjusting the waist. They usually last a few years but…

TRU-SPEC vs. Propper

I love these pants. I bought a pair of these and a pair of Proppers. Same size. Both pants are good. There are several differences. The Propper sneakers are tapered at the ankle for a slimmer look. The TRU-SPEC material is a bit softer, but I wouldn't say the propper is rough. Because of the baggy and softness, I think…

Pros
  • 2 adjustable hip belts with 4 latches; 4 button closure
Cons
  • High price

In my case I have a waist around 32 which means I should go medium. Medium is for 31-35. So it will be big and baggy on me but I can't take a small one because it's too small. The double-reinforced "knee pads" are also too low for me, as is the BDU. It is more like a shin guard and barely reaches the knee. This is a problem as my BDUs always tend to…
