Review on Andoer Tripod Head by Tim Thuss

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good product. in tripod heads

My example of this ball head was lubricated with clear adhesive gel, not grease. The Pan action almost froze, rendering the feature unusable. The ball is textured, not smooth, so it doesn't spin smoothly. After using it for a couple of weeks I finally took WD40 and sprayed it on my head. Almost immediately the panning resolved itself, so loose that it now moves so easily that there is no panning damping at all. When I tighten the pan lock slightly, the head spins as if the pan screw dented the shank in random places. If the manufacturer fills this head with quality grease and polishes the ball head, everything would be fine. I can try opening the unit and filling it with lithium white grease to fix the problem.
