Fits well looks and feels good turns off iPad 2nd gen when I close it stays on well. The plastic case that houses the iPad has a very nice sculpted grain. In short, it gets the job done and costs next to nothing. And delivered very quickly. Two minor annoyances: First, there's only a rubber strap to close that you have to pull on instead of the sewn-in flaps used on more expensive cases. I haven't found that to be a problem, but I suspect the band will lose elasticity sooner or later, and more importantly, that means the edge of the iPad (i.e. the top one with the volume knob) doesn't have that soft faux leather. Padding to absorb any impact as it falls on that edge, plastic shell only. Second, while the iPad rotates on a plastic ring so you can view it in portrait or landscape mode, there are no stops built into the ring to hold it in any position. Thus, the device rotates freely when moved. But that's a bit of a nitpick for me as I tend to be light on all my devices. For only $10 this is a very good deal.
