This is my second Frogg Toggs waterproof suit. I bought the first eight or nine years ago. I don't use it very often (it's the emergency kit in my bike's saddlebag) but when I do use it it's totally rainproof and blocks the wind very well. I slipped it on over an Aerostich Roadcrafter and rode through Snoqualmie Pass in the snow and it kept me warm and dry. I use this new suit a lot more to protect myself from the pouring rain when I ride my Segway to work. I keep this jacket and matching pants in the duffel bag they sell. It's about the size of a loaf of rye bread, but if you put it on it will keep you dry. I usually wear an oversized shirt and the oversized Frogg Toggs Road Toad slips easily over my shirt and fleece. The reflective piping helps drivers see me well, but in daylight it's less noticeable than most other things. Another nice feature is that the hood folds up and zips compactly around the neck, which is very important when wearing a helmet. What I really miss is that it doesn't have external pockets. I would like a place for a small flashlight or a pair of gloves. But I don't mind; It would be difficult to make such a cheap jacket fully waterproof if it added pockets. And it's watertight - I've worn it on my bike at 80km/h in the pouring rain and not a single drop got in. I would recommend it for everyday use or as an emergency rain cover.
