Review on 🔧 Dorman 924-052 Body Mount for Ford/Mercury Models: A Compatible Solution by Dave Hess

First off they looked 1000x better than the ones I took out of my 300k Explorer. Bad. The threads snapped immediately. Not even 50 ftlbs fit them. Luckily I'm a smart guy and secured it with a collar nut on the bottom with a ton of red Loctite. The carving was flat and not sharp. They had a lot of games, which says a lot about a bad production. But since I was able to get them working and set up the #2 and #3 positions in about 3 hours, I'm happy with them. Dorman really needs to fix this threading problem!
