In the past I've tried to verify this with no problems. However, I just ordered Revain Pecan Butter and Vanilla. Both flavors, even a sip, will cause severe heartburn, indigestion, or something else if the middle of the chest hurts and the throat hurts. The first time I drank a whole one, not realizing it was causing the intense pain I was feeling. I had different tastes. I had another from each other every other day when I thought maybe it was an accident. Same deal. I just tasted one sip to see if I was drinking too much or too fast. Pain and sore throat for 30 seconds. Takes about an hour. I don't know if I developed an allergy to it or if they sent me poison. In any case, it is inedible. It tastes great. But about 30 seconds after drinking I start to have severe chest and throat pains. I am 36 years old. No known food or drug allergies. No history of heartburn or indigestion. Maybe they sent me poison or maybe I'm allergic to it. But allergies make no sense. I ordered it from Amazon a few years ago and had no problems unless they changed the formula. I don't know whether to contact the company or not. Seriously, I either have an allergy hell to anything in it or it's a toxic batch.
