This is probably the smallest shaft generator you can buy. A little weak for a speed of 1600 g / h. It is very quiet and easy to install. The magnet works with my 125 gallon tank, so it's strong enough for the advertised size of the tank. Not sure I would buy it if I really needed it as a wave maker, although it could do the job in 10-20 gallons. I only need it for atheistic reasons to move air stone bubbles. I also bought a 2600 gph to replace the 1600 gph hoping it would be stronger. It was, but not much, and it was much more, and after a few minutes it started making a loud ticking noise. The blades seemed off balance and I couldn't silence them so I returned them and kept 1600 gph to myself. Satisfied overall, will update if this stops working prematurely.
