Very light Color: drawing
I just tried it today and even a long rub with a few milliliters of water on the ink stone produced a light gray ink. Already in the first few seconds I saw a difference to other clubs. I've used ink pens successfully in the past and taken courses in ink drawing and Chinese calligraphy, so I'm pretty sure I'm not. I haven't had a new ink stick in a while, but I rubbed it long enough to go through whatever coating it might have. The wooden box it comes in is good. I feel like I got a low quality stick for a high price.
