Review on 🚦 Front Left Replacement Side Marker Light - TYC 18-5898-01 Compatible with Chevrolet by Dustin Woodrow

I have a 2003 Silverado H/D and they fit exactly like the OEM. They look the same and are assembled in exactly the same way. Like a few other aftermarket reviewers, I took the extra step of applying a dot of clear coat where the lens and substrate attach. I just wanted extra insurance against moisture ingress. By reading all the reviews on the different brands that are offered on Revain, you will get the best ratings. Buy them for the price and skip the professional cleaning attempt. I have cleaned and resealed mine 3 times. It only delayed the inevitable. It took them less than 10 minutes (left/right) to install the front of the truck and give it a whole new look. After several months of use, there was no leakage and the transparency of the lenses did not decrease. Update: I later had an ARB winch bumper installed and unbeknownst to me the installer broke both parking light mounting tabs. I wasn't aware of that at the time and I didn't report this damage to the manager. Due to another problem with installing the bumper (workshop error), the manager fixed some other things, for now I just said that the price for the exchange was much less than what I got for it. UPDATE: 5/23/2018 These side marker lights (left and right) are now my second ones as the installer broke their mounting tabs when installing the bumper 4 weeks after the initial installation. The lamps themselves are great. I had no problems. I like Chevy's design for installing the front lights on a CLASSIC truck (2003-2006.5 body). These new ones are quick and easy to install. No more rattling or falling out of the bindings due to careless mechanics. These new bulbs are so affordable and easy to use that they're a lot less expensive than trying to clean your original bulbs.
