The diameter was slightly thinner than the OEM for my 6.0L Suburban so it fit freely in the bracket. The plastic tubing that came with the kit was too narrow to fit over the pump so I had to heat it with a hair dryer to get it tight. For this price you can't complain, starts and runs. It seems to deliver enough fuel at high loads despite being physically smaller than the OEM pump it replaced. Installation would have been a lot easier if I had paid more and bought the entire fuel pump assembly, but it did the job for a fraction of the cost.
