These boots are absolutely pointless and have a horrible design. Last year we bought TUNDRA boots for all the kids and they were great. We didn't have the size we wanted so we bought this. The tongue supposedly goes OVER the boot and the Velcro strap secures it to the boot. This is not only almost impossible for a child, but also difficult for an adult as you have to align the tongue with the back half on each side. Literally grab a pair of tall boots, stick your tongue out, and let your three-year-old try to secure him perfectly in the front with a single Velcro strap while standing in a doorway in a full snowsuit. no shot. Guaranteed to help your children every time. As a parent of four children we need all the help we can get, we absolutely cannot have boots making things difficult. Additionally, the design essentially creates pockets of snow that can get caught in the boot. I can't say enough about how bad the design is. Buy brand TUNDRA or something else/
