Disappointed with the heatsink
I bought these headphones to replace my MDR-7506. Based on the reviews, I bought it due to the increased comfort and reduced heat build-up compared to standard ear pads. I'm a bit disappointed at the moment because this set performs the same (if not hotter) than standard ear pads, even in an air conditioned room, and even more so in mobile/outdoors. Comfort is okay, but not really big enough for me to justify a $16 replacement for the standard set. I would suggest trying micro suede or sheepskin as the perforated and perforated option isn't really a huge improvement.
