After losing our beloved Beagle dog after the holidays, we brought a new Beagle puppy into our home in early February! It's been such a joyful time at our home after experiencing the pain of losing our first beagle, but damn we forgot how stubborn beagles are and how hard they are to train! Our Beagle pup spent most of his time chewing or trying to chew something that wasn't bolted to the ground! Within days of our new baby's birth, he swallowed a tiny sock and pulled out almost every stuffed animal our young son has! Needless to say, we've had enough! We weren't fans of the idea of "shocking" our new pup and after a lot of research we came across the Bousnic Shock collar and we liked the idea that it had three functions (beep, buzz, shock) and not only Beep and then immediately. Shock. We thought it was worth a try and it was the best decision we've made for our pup! It didn't take our pup more than a day to understand that the beep along with the "no" command meant we had to do it. After a few weeks of just squeaking and humming, our pup stopped chewing everything and behaving destructively. Now our little one is almost 9 months old (we got him when he was 3 months old) and he's doing great! We never installed a shock function on the collar as he never needed it. This product has been a life saver and considering the opinions of others and our own past experience, Beagle training requires a great deal of patience and dedication. This product definitely helped. Now our Beagle rarely wears this collar and obeys better than ever. Even if we have to put it on because it gets a little noisy, just switching it on helps with checking. I also want to mention the battery life of this product! We have literally had to charge this product twice since purchasing it! It's also very durable and doesn't bother our little boy at all. It was a great find! I highly recommend!
