As others have pointed out this is a great guide for beginner knitters, but being so comprehensive and authoritative it is also a practical and useful resource for experienced knitters as well. One of the joys of knitting is applying your knowledge and skills to new and varied projects, and this book will help you do that, whether you're interpreting a new style or creating your own creations. with mistakes and decide whether to tear them out or not. Next time I decide to rip, it will be much easier to use Andrea's technique.
