Review on MSI H510I PRO WiFi ProSeries Motherboard: Compact, Powerful, and High-Speed Connectivity for 11th/10th Gen Intel Core Processors! by Alejandro Anaya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Robust and inexpensive board for basic systems.

Reliable ITX board at an affordable price. Paired with 10th Gen Intel i5-10400, 16GB DDR4-3200 Crucial Ballistix memory. Started right away with no problems. Please note that this board supports 11th and 10th generation Intel processors. The H510 chipset does not support PCIe4 NVMe SSDs, only PCIe 3.0 SSDs. This can be an obstacle for people with 11th generation chips. Since I'm using a 10th gen chip, this wasn't a problem for me. There's also a 1m.2 slot, so keep that in mind. This system is mainly used for office tasks, watching videos and the most basic things. I have a powerful gaming rig with RTX 3070 and i9 so this board was chosen for the base system. It's great for that. Stable, decent MSI bios. I had a hard time separating the m.2 screws from each other. They were very tight so I had to be careful and use a picking tool to hold the m.2 screw on the motherboard with one hand while using the other to carefully unscrew the screw itself. But it wasn't that hard, and I used a small, appropriately sized screwdriver. If you hit it with a big screwdriver, you can easily snap off the screw heads, so go slow and careful! This is clearly a budget board for base machines, so do meet your expectations. Anyone looking for a simple office PC without frills is in good hands here. Wifi is great with excellent signal. The rest of the components work well - Realtek LAN and sound are fine. Enough USB ports. However, USB-C is missing, so keep that in mind. If I were to build a fleet of office PCs I would buy them immediately. For a killer ITX gaming rig, you need a b560 or z490/z590 board (at a much higher price) for more m.2 slots, faster PCIe 4 SSDs, more powerful VRMs, and so on. But for a base car, I highly recommend it.
