I bought this cartridge because it was much cheaper than the Delta brand cartridge, now I know why it is cheaper. This replacement cartridge leaked worse than the 20 year old it replaced and I couldn't get the temp high enough. Went to the local hardware store and bought a Delta brand cartridge for 2.5 times the price but it worked great. I was able to set the temperature on it and it didn't leak at all. Return this item for a refund. Save yourself the hassle, buy a Danco or Delta brand cartridge that works.
