This is a welder that offers excellent value for money. It's much better built than I thought it would be. Easily welds small bars in a 110V/20A circuit with very precise current control. 6013 rods are easy to start and weld. Decades ago I was doing tack welds in a shipyard and since then I've done nothing and made good penetration welds with the first bar. Great for garage projects. Please note that it is not sold as a real 220V welder. The adapter is a 220V welder plug that plugs into a standard 110V plug. ONLY ONE 220V PLUG IS USED. This allows you to connect to a 220V/30A circuit to get a 110V/30A circuit. This is a very smart way to get more amps as most homes have one Have 220v dryers either in the garage or in the nearby laundry room. This allows you to use the heavy duty 110v power strip you probably already have. Your dryer uses a special 220V plug, so you still need to adapt to an adapter. Can't comment on reliability or durability, but if you need to do critical repairs it's definitely worth it.
