After installation in the RV, the hose connector did not hang well and looked chunky. This is the result of connecting a hose coming from above as shown in the product image. I did not verify the manufacturer before making this change. They probably won't endorse it or honor its warranty, but it's well made and should certainly last a very long time. If the valve is installed correctly, after lifting, there is a hard stop on the left and right to switch it on. Without a water supply (RV pump or shore water connection), you can unscrew the center of the valve from the front behind the handle. This is for the inner workings of the mixing valve. Don't worry, you don't need to dismantle anything. Simply loosen the center until you can rotate the valve knob 180 degrees and retighten. The hard stops on the left and right still limit the way after completion. After testing this configuration with the water back on and it working, I wired the entire valve assembly upside down. The hose connector now exits the bottom as I think it should (see 1st photo attached). It looks good and works well. The company name is now visible, printed on the new upper (see 2nd photo attached). As if it had to be installed like that! (When installed in the originally proposed configuration, the company name faces down and is obscured). Very happy with this product. It looks good and works well. Change at your own risk.
