I was looking for something to spice up my gaming experience and the new controller seemed to fit the bill. I liked the ability to change the color in the middle, it's a simple feature but it feels different when you're tired of the old color. The feel of the controller is very good. I'm 6ft tall and range from 160-180lbs and my arms wrap perfectly around this thing. The palm grip has a rubber texture, making it more comfortable than other plastic ones during long gaming sessions. The key feel is also good. I often find it difficult to reach the pause button (and remember what it is) in the heat of battle, but nothing worth putting on a star, just a time to adjust. The cable length is incredibly redundant. My USB port is about 2 feet from my knees and I feel like this thing has enough wiggle room to reach into the next room. The cable is decent quality too, not cheap flimsy stuff like the retro controllers sold here, it's a bit rubbery which I think repels pets, and it feels pretty solid. This comes from a man known for breaking connectors and wrapping them with tape to protect exposed wires. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. For the price, it's a refreshing change if you're tired of the typical 360 controller or double whammy. Sometimes something as simple as changing headphones or a new keyboard breathes new life into a gaming setup, and this device definitely falls into that category.
