Works great. You will need glue to hold them on the pole. I used Locktite spray adhesive and it worked amazingly. Used on inch handlebars for my Kawasaki Vulcan 1600. If you've taped it down and are still having trouble, peel it off, wrap tape around where you want the handle to sit, and try again. Has worked wonders for me
