I use this bag for embroidery. This is the perfect size for small projects. There is room for embroidery, thread, needles, scissors, patterns etc. The bag is very well made from a strong, durable canvas material and appears to have been made with great care. I just wish there was an option to use a shoulder strap instead of the shorter handles that come with it. The photo gives you an idea of the size; Template folded in half on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The sides are soft enough to fit a lot of stuff in this bag, I carried both my kindle and phone in it and two projects and it all fit perfectly. The zippers are also durable, which is important for such use.
