Having worked in the audio field in the past, I didn't equate Pyle with high audio quality. However, my needs didn't call for a $200 mic, so I decided to prefer a brand that sounded like a bunch of letters. This was used for remote schoolwork and vocal recordings for the school musical. The recording sounded much better than the MacBook Air's built-in microphone, and the USB interface made things easy. Everything I needed came in one package and still held up. I'd prefer the pop screen didn't advertise Pyle, but that's fine. Overall happy with the purchase and I'm sure will continue to use it even if we (eventually) give up distance learning.
