Installation was quite easy. Except that the shape of the CD holder didn't match when it hit my AC fan's handle and I actually had to insert it upside down to get it fully into the CD drive. It was an acceptable workaround, although a lower phone meant you had to look even further off the road while driving. Also interferes with my shifter when I have to put it in park, causing me to have to pick up my phone before parking. And on the other hand, you have to exit the park before you can set up your phone. The auto shutter feature was well done. My case is a Samsung Note 10+ flip case. The bracket fixed it very well in the case. The wireless charging also seamlessly charged the case, which surprised me. But unfortunately this would not make sense as the charger would not be able to cope with fast charging. When using it as a GPS with the Waze app, which is a core feature and a must-have for the mount from the start, I would lose charge faster than the charger would charge the phone, inevitably draining and charging the phone's battery would have to be. Either leave it turned off while charging, or charge it in ways other than a wireless mount. Removing the phone from the case did not solve the problem. It just doesn't load quickly. Unfortunately, taping the cable is also not an option when using the mount, as part of the mount is blocking the phone's charging port. Until my phone died while driving with the GPS on, I'd keep the mount with no issues. The final slap on the knees. I took it to my local UPS store for a return and they said it was a $1 return. This was the first time I've been asked to pay anything to return an Amazon product as I'd done a few times before at the same Oops store.
