The camera does not have internal memory, so it will not work without an SD (Secure Digital) memory card or SDHC card while recording to an SD card. Before inserting an SD card into the card slot, make sure that the write-protect switch on the side of the SD card is turned off (NOT in the "Lock" position). The user manual says the supported storage is up to 32GB, so I bought a 32GB SD card for it. Note. If you are using a card larger than 32GB make sure you test it before using the camera and the manual mentions this. PIR is also good and works up to 65 feet. This feature is really handy for night use. If an animal moves in front of the camera, it can still be detected by the highly sensitive passive infrared (PIR) sensor even at a distance of 20 meters, and then automatically take high-quality pictures or record high-definition video clips. This ability is excellent. strength is good. I suggest you use 4 x AA or 8 x AA high capacity alkaline batteries for your camera. Also, the user manual mentions that this surveillance camera can be powered by external DC power supply (6V/2A), solar power supply, etc., but I don't see a DC power supply in the package, I only see a DC output port. at the bottom of the camera.
