Unexpected! I was surprised by what I found with this Hera palette. Turns out I love the dark blue smokey eye on me. If you have dark eyes and hair, try it! I can't get enough of this look lately and it's also super suitable for everyday use. The matte dark blue shade in this palette ("v") is highly pigmented, easy to apply and very easy to blend. I'd say it performs like a high end shadow and seems pretty reliable. It's definitely not as tense a zero-to-60 moment as some black matte shadows can be. This navy blue pairs beautifully with a rich color. No smudges and I even applied it under the shadow without a base. And I like to either put a layer of metallic blue on top or put some metallic gold all over the lid. A truly amazing result and my new favorite. The reason I took off a star was because the overall color history of this palette seems a bit rambling and there are some shades in it that I will never touch because I feel like they don't go well with the rest of the palette. . The two matt blue and matt red also look very similar. I don't want these colors to look superfluous in the palette. Overall, if you're drawn to the blues in this palette, I can confidently say they won't disappoint. This matte navy and metallic blue will delight you and never disappoint. I got so many compliments on my deep blue smokey eyes that this palette is in my collection just for those shades.
