The sponges were delicious. I had soot on the walls and ceiling from the wood stove. I couldn't get enough of how quickly these sponges removed the soot and left no streaks. I was excited. Also, I was completely surprised at how much soot each sponge contained. With only 4 sponges I cleaned the kitchen, hallway, studio, bedroom and ceilings in the three rooms on the upper floor. With a wood stove, I can't say it will be the last time I need them. I have cleaned them as directed on the packaging and am ready for some additional carbon build up. I couldn't be happier!
