I had to replace a polished dispenser with a chrome plated one. It was a bit of a downgrade for me as the mat was real metal, both the base and the nozzle. This one is made entirely of plastic. It also doesn't stick out that much, making it harder to get your hands underneath. You'll have to turn your hands "sideways" toward the back edge of the sink if you want it in your palm, otherwise if you like it on your fingertips, you're done. The pump works well, the bottle holds as much as the others I've had and the ones I'm replacing but I just can't help but think it should be as it costs more than the ones I've replaced the best stuff with metal. But it works, just expensive for an all-plastic pump.
