Beware of dead pixels and glare.

When you buy an expensive PRO tool, you expect the quality, reliability, and ease of use to be near perfect, especially from top-of-the-line professional tools. So when I found highlights on the bottom left, top right, and very top, that was unacceptable. I also found 4 dead pixels so it came back. Before I sent it back though, I ordered a replacement so I didn't have any downtime - once again in professional use in a production environment. I was amazed and disappointed that the second one not only had the same problems, but were much worse. The lights were nearly doubled and there were a few dead pixels. (Without returning the first one, I actually compared them side by side). So I sent them both back and I'm limping with my 12+ year old(?) - so old I can't remember when I actually bought it - probably 2004 or 2006 when they first came out - until I figured out how to get a quality build. I don't want to pay a premium amount ($2500) for a semi-quality product like this. Wacom, you need to take control of quality control. I enjoy using my Wacom products and have used them professionally since 1999, but it is very frustrating to charge customers such a premium and deliver such inferior equipment. To be honest, the usability of the Cintiq Pro 24 (pen feel, pressure, line control sensitivity, remote control with extra buttons) was a huge improvement over the 21UX, Companion 1 and Companion 2. And I love that they're FINALLY coming out in 4K to have. Synthetic. And during this mess of re-orders and returns, they finally came out with the Pro 32. So now I'm thinking about getting the Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 because I really like the extra space; but once more. The extreme premium price tag for the lack of top notch professional quality (from what I've read and from my experience above) worries me a lot.
