Only wore them once today on a muddy trail. Four miles of mixed terrain (mud, grass, some rocks and gnarled roots). Felt very comfortable and helped deflect a lot (but not all) of the harder surface rock. I wouldn't necessarily want to wear them on trails that are mostly covered in sharp rocks, but other than that they offer good underfoot protection for a lightweight/almost minimalist shoe. Runs relatively true to size, although I would suggest going up to the next size up if you're between sizes to be on the safe side. Great knobs that helped with traction in muddy areas. In general, so far very happy with the purchase. Now let's see how they behave over time.
