Review on Kicode Portable Electric Under Desk Treadmill With Bluetooth Speaker, Remote Control And LED Display - Walking Jogging Machine For Home Office Use by James Rogers

Quite good and quite surprised but not without its faults.

I just opened this package today to start using it. First off, the foam used in packaging is really good stuff. Not the typical white styrofoam that leaves little pellets all over your floor. Kudos on that one, Kicode.Second, this is quieter than my last under desk treadmill (which I sold before I moved last year) and came pre-lubricated so I didn't have to do anything with that before I could start walking. The display is nice and easy to read. I really think it's cool that the remote slots right into its home on top of the treadmill, too. It is definitely wide enough and long enough to not cause any issues unless I wobble around on my own. The treadmill is very quiet. Granted, the sound of my feet hitting it is noisy, but the actual treadmill is very quiet. I'm impressed with that. It also does not automatically shut off after 90 minutes like my old one did. I only went a little longer than that to test, but I appreciate that it can keep going if I can keep going. What's bad? The speed goes in increments of .2 mph. So don't expect to walk at 1.5 mph, but not a terrible issue at all. When changing speeds, there's some wobble from the motor as it doesn't smoothly increase in speed, at least while in the middle of walking on it. Probably best to set the speed where you want and then start walking.I think the bluetooth speaker part is something I will never use, though, and I would have preferred to just not have it, but it doesn't realistically interfere with what I need it for, so I can deal with that.Again, this is day 1 of use so we shall see how it holds up to hours of walking each day.

Pros
  • Helps to increase longevity and overall quality of life
Cons
  • The machine isn't worth the money
