An incredible amount of bass that can be boosted in an open cabinet or corner. Of course, it is not the bass that can be felt, but very low frequencies, which can surprise, if not outright amaze, for such a small sound source, and can be combined quite well with high and medium frequencies. Spatially no comparison to Bose. But in terms of music perception, frequency is not an issue. Not very noisy but more than enough for the room you are in. or in an open plan office or home area, by the pool, etc. Now I can get about 10 hours on a full charge at medium volume, but the first few charges I had were less. Feels solid and well made. Heavy for its size. No problem pairing with any of my BT devices. Automatically turns off after a few minutes of inactivity. When the battery is low, it will repeat loudly "Low Battery" every 30 seconds until it turns off. This particularly annoyed me: I'm already listening, so just tell me once or twice, maybe a final warning, but repeat it 10 times before you turn it off, Even with 30 seconds (maybe a minute) in between, it just kills any enjoyment of the last few minutes of music I could get if my hands are tied (sort of) and can't save the speaker to its end by power saving countdown. That's hardly a reason not to invest in this excellent Bluetooth speaker. So give it a try before you pull the Bose trigger.
