Will not fit HitchMate Latch Mechanism
Bought 2 of these to share the bed of my pickup truck. However, I can only use one of these as Heininger didn't design it to fit on their HitchMate locking mechanism. You'll need to turn the Hitchmate upside down and then try to lock it before you can attempt to install a spacer bar if you need it in the area covered by the lock (I think about a third of the total area of the bar ).
