Very happy with these coat hangers. They weren't the cheapest of the thick metal hangers, but they had the best reviews. I use hangers for both regular closet storage and hanging dry clothes (dry to damp and wrinkle free). For environmental reasons, I prefer not to use plastic. In addition, plastic often breaks and takes up space. The wooden hangers are very thick and I didn't find them to hold a lot of clothes. I have found that most plastic and wooden hangers are not suitable for women's XL shirts. The neck openings are wider and the shirts just slide off. I use very long plastic hangers (no bar down) but they often break. But to my great surprise, these metal hangers hold all XL shirts. They are even suitable for t-shirts and blouses that need a cut-out to keep the straps from slipping off. A small metal dip works very well. My husband's XS shirts also fit well on these hangers. No, they don't replace all my hangers. I still have foldable trouser hangers, skirt hangers, small clothes hangers for children and sturdy wooden clothes hangers. And I use some of the wooden or rather plastic hangers for fashion and knitwear that might otherwise get distorted. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The advantage is that 30 metal hangers take up much less space than 30 normal plastic hangers. Well, if the manufacturers carefully processed the end and did not put on a plastic plug.
