This veil is very pretty! The fabric is soft and doesn't crease easily. The quality is excellent for an affordable price. Long enough to wrap around your neck (see photo) or even use as a scarf. - WHY VEILS. The use of the veil in the Church has many purposes. This simple act glorifies the beauty of God, not the beauty of woman's physical being. It also reflects the humility and purity of Mother Mary. Wearing the mantilla also represents the woman's role as a life-giving vessel. Although it is no longer required to cover the head during Mass, the Church encourages it as a symbol of our devotion, worship and respect for our God.
