does what it says Don't tell you what he doesn't do.

A fairly prosaic smart fan control switch. It works to give you smart control via Alexa, Google Home or the GE Cync app IF YOUR SETUP MEET THESE TWO CONDITIONS: 1) Neutral in the box. 2) The wires inside the box are for the fan, NOT for the lights. If you don't have a neutral wire in your box, this isn't for you. Get a Lutron Maestro fan controller and LED+ dimmer that works without a neutral wire. If you have wires for the fan and lights in the box, don't take them at all. It is not possible to control both the light and the fan if there are cables in the box for both the light and the fan. If you're trying to upgrade an old fan with smart pull chains, get something like this instead: https://www.amazon. com/dp/B00715SU4A? Now this device does what it says on the tin, but the documentation on this Revain product page is completely unclear that you can't use it with modern fans with built-in remote controls, and it's also an aftermarket solution for older fans that use pull chains as their only Means for controlling the light, the fan, or both. I actually find this misleading because the box itself has this warning on the side, but the product images ignore that part of the box. I'm including it in this review and maybe Cync will add it later, but as of today, that picture isn't here.
