My four-year-old is already a big boy. His size 6 coat was getting too tight for him and the old size 8 coat we got from his older brother was weirdly big on him so I chose this size 7. Unfortunately it was more of a size 6 which I replaced have. It fit, just a little snug, so I decided to keep it while I tried to get through the rest of this winter. It's definitely a warm coat, but the snug fit left a small hole in the armpit area. I'm not disappointed with the product, just the size.
