I bought this mic as an alternative to moving the interface along with a condenser mic (AT4040). Beginning. All buttons work and feel pretty solid and clear. I love how you can change the audio reception pattern for different recording situations. In terms of sound, it's not as crisp and clear compared to my traditional setup, but for the price and convenience it sounds pretty good. One small issue with the mic I have is that it would be great if the monitor input was on the back instead of the bottom. Very happy with the purchase.
