These lights are great looking! Metal rather than plastic with a nice shape, they look much more expensive than they were. We installed them ourselves with 12 gauge wire, the leonlite cable splice connectors (also found on amazon), and a transformer with timer and it could not have been easier. We did not need 12 lights but saved the extra for spares in case one needs replacement at a later date. The 4000K version provides a nice, crisp white light to match our other exterior lighting and hit the perfect sweet spot between the more yellow 3000K lights and the really bright 5000K daylight ones. I looked at many, many landscape lights, both kits and separate light sets, and definitely think these are a great purchase.
