This rating doesn't necessarily apply to these memory cards, but the step from 16 (2x8 at 2666MHz) to 32 (2x16 at 2666MHz) was huge. To be honest, it's probably a good move to just buy a 32GB RAM card if you already have two 8GB card slots, which is something I didn't think of until I bought this one. This way you can have 40 gigabytes instead of 32. Just make sure the speeds are the same (if you have 8GB 2666MHz make sure the 32GB is also a 2666MHz card). In any case, the step from 2x8 gigs to 2x16 was gigantic. Subnautica went from 20-25 fps to 45 fps with occasional stuttering on medium to high settings (it's the slowest game I've ever played, it runs a lot slower than, say, GTA V). For reference, I also have a GTX 1060 Max-Q and an 8th Gen Intel i7. Surprisingly, even basic functions, like opening the Start menu in the lower-left corner of Windows, immediately started working faster, which I didn't expect. Definitely worth your money.
