Order pending but still pending

My order was not completed because I need a larger size. I have already ordered the next size up (small) for my 11lb Havana cheese. I'll try to update after I get the correct size (hopefully). While trying to figure out the dimensions I can tell you the excellent quality of the product: * Metal hardware - metal zippers and buttons. Most dog clothes are made of plastic (a very expensive Korean brand springs to mind).* Real pockets - one large pocket in the middle of the back and two smaller ones over the kidneys. They all have working metal buttons and they are all real bags. Amazing.* Fully lined - in fact the people who made this made two jackets: a liner and an outer. This jacket isn't heat resistant, but the double layers should make the coat comfortable even on windy and/or chilly fall days.* Finishing - Inner and outer seams are impeccable. Inside seams are covered. The large loop (above for leash access) is neatly finished.* The fitting is a very complex, multi-part cut that requires precision work. Once I figure out the right size, it looks like the jacket will fit when seated. flexible and yet tightly woven. The color is uniform, there are no protruding threads in the fabric and in the seams. The fabric feels strong enough to hold metal buttons open and closed for years. Other design details that I love are the detachable hood, the long sleeves (to prevent the chest and straps from getting wet and tangling under the front legs. Frustration for long haired dogs) and those little drawstrings to tie the sleeves and waist tighten the neck. The clasp at the neck looks charming and sophisticated. The harness loop is a must for people like me who need to buckle and tie their dog for walks. My only possible criticisms that don't deduct a star are the chest latches and the return shipping fee. Dogs splash on their chests when walking on wet ground, so chest buckles usually don't provide adequate protection. This is not a problem with this jacket as the button placket has two closures: a zipper and some buttons. Also, this company looks like a small business so I can't be too strict when it comes to paying for a product to be returned. The overall value for money is still higher than the main brands, although there is a small difference. And I think the money will go to real people, not mega corporations. Considerations I don't need for my current dog: If you have a male dog, you can estimate the chest length of the jacket (may not go over dog's chest or is uncomfortable). Sleeve length may be too long for dogs with shorter legs. Once I figure out the sizing I look forward to this company expanding their product line.
