Bought 2 sets as they were sold in the blue store. When I first saw them I thought they were a bit useless but after using them they serve a very useful purpose in my woodwork. To me they are great for fixing moldings to edges or boards. Not just to hold the pieces in place when gluing, but just as important to lay out each piece. I cut a piece, pinch it, measure it and cut out the next piece. After everything is cut out, hold the pieces until the glue dries. Also, it holds parts better than any other clip I have. They are also very stretchy so you can slide them in properly and the pads on the clamps hold the work in place. In fact, I was surprised at how much they can stretch. One thing though, these big ones are a little big if you don't have big hands, they can sometimes be used with two hands, even more so if you don't have a strong grip. . I'm not saying they're useless because they open up more than other sizes, just be prepared for them to be a little big. If you tend to do smaller jobs, you should also consider starting with a medium size. I have 2 medium sizes and they are perfect for most of my work. I'm still glad I bought them. I may not use them often, but sometimes they come in very handy. The only thing I can't say is how they stand up to such usage. I will update this review if anything changes.
