My students love this type of exercise
My students love this type of exercise. An annoying factor is that a student who has trouble recognizing numbers can bypass counting by matching the colors of the dots to the shell, defeating the purpose of the product. Instead, I can erase the dots and paint them black. Otherwise, this is a good manipulation to start the preschool year. Advanced students will spend less than five minutes on this unless we include them in our dramatic play area.
