I've learned a lot with HID. It's a good thing I'm no longer blowing expensive HID tubes because some mechanics think they know what they're doing without checking the information. I discovered this because I have installed them many times and have been very disappointed with the brightness but loved the cost. I want to fix my electrical system and get my HID back but one thing is for sure. If you attempt this yourself, make sure you close the lid of the case tightly, securely, and properly. After a few winters my HID ballast got wet and caused a major electrical nightmare that I couldn't afford to fix and eventually I found someone who knew what they were doing and offered to install them because I kept burning out other lamps. . They're a lot cheaper and a super fantastic option for my situation. I would rate them 5 stars if the gauges were more accurate. Well, honestly as far as listing goes, they're about as smart as HIDs. what they are not.
