This leaves all the metal on one end of the strap and just the webbing on the other end. Thread the exposed end of the strap through the loops on your pants. Thread the strap through the cam and adjust to the desired length. After that the buckle can be used. I know it sounds silly but I wanted to throw the belt away until I found out how well the camera works. I've never seen a camera that refills so easily, so I assumed it would be a hassle to refill it every time I wash my pants.
