Too small for 6.5 but great socks.
Too big. I'm a size 6.5 so it's not uncommon. They are very comfortable, the stitching (or lack thereof) is very good and the padded parts are reasonable but do not compromise breathability. I can't talk about the absorption function. I tried them around the house during the day and thought they were great. When I put the shoes on, I realized that they were at least half a size too big for me.
