Not durable.: Manufactured

I didn't use them for their intended purpose but I don't know what to think of these wooden rings. You have a strange smell. Also, some broke right out of the pocket. I thought it should be strong and durable wooden rings? I checked my rings and noticed that they also have mold. Will have to throw a few away. While I love the idea of these wooden rings, I won't be buying them again because they are brittle, flimsy, and moldy.
