Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

Great lens for all occasions! Its main advantage is versatility. I used to use it with 400D, now I use it with 5D mark II. Of course, this lens is designed for full frame, but at such a high resolution (22MP) chromatic aberration is noticeable. I think if you use it with a device with a lower resolution (for example, 5D), then this problem will not be.
Despite the minor flaws, very pleased with it, not going to change it anytime soon!

Pros

First of all, versatility, suitable for most occasions. Fast ultrasonic focus. Dust-moisture-proof (repeatedly removed them in light rain, everything is ok). Good clarity and color reproduction for such a zoom. The stabilizer is just great!

Cons

There are few of them: - Chromatic aberration is quite strong if you shoot full frame at 22MP resolution) - The absence of a zoom ring lock at the initial position of 24mm (the lens falls out under its own weight, although the ring moves quite elastic, but not tight (as it should be))
