I could install the bracket over the gutter if the solar panel wasn't attached. After I attached the solar panel, I couldn't get the bracket into the gutter. Second, judging by the picture, I may have fitted it incorrectly, but my gutters don't look like the picture and definitely wouldn't work. (The instructions didn't help.) I finally found a way where the screws/knobs are in the gutter, but it's impossible to tighten them that way. Also, no matter how much I had to manipulate the mount to get it into the groove, it could cause the platter to come loose and start spinning. Why does this review also ask for "motion detection"? These are solid mounts that shouldn't move; These are not cameras or solar panels.
