To be honest as this is my first civilian night vision goggle I don't have anything else on the market that compares. However, I have served 10 years and compared to what we have used it is very good. No, they're not tactical, but in terms of image, clarity and range, they're even better than what we've had in the field. I wasn't a commando or a ranger who had the best gear, so there's no comparison. But in terms of the main parameters of night vision devices, they compete with them. Not to mention that you can take photos and videos and the lack of sound is not a problem for me, I like it in case the playback fails in a tactical situation. On the other hand, they're a little bulky and infrared light can definitely be seen, but to be honest you get a pretty good picture without using it remotely. You must use infrared light to see up close in the dark. But for the money you get a good, functional pair of night vision goggles. The build quality feels nice and solid, the buttons and case feel nice, the strap has swivel hooks instead of a loop, which I like too. So if you don't want to go broke and want something better than cheap night vision goggles, this pair is for you. I think most people will be satisfied. Just look at the rating of reviews, people are happy and you might just get a free night vision flashlight as a bonus. Pretty decent fit, even for 32G SD. Hope that helps.
