"oH, iTs NoT veRy BriGhT" You arent going to see any purple glow coming from this thing, but thats the point- it is right at the edge of our visible spectrum at 365nm. For those who are looking for a light to help detect flourescent dye- this works pretty well. It works pretty damn well. UV dye absolutely jumps out at you with this. I wasnt expecting much perfirmance from an unknown Chinese UV light, but the combination of the LED and filter is suprisingly effective. Actually almost works better without the glasses, as you can see in the video. You do have to be very careful not to leave it on all the time, since you cant see if its on or off at a glance. For instance, one of the pictures the light is on, and one of the pictures the light is off- try to guess which one is which. The glow-in-the-dark o-ring in the bezel is a nice touch, too. Dont be fooled by other 10, 50, 100 led lights on amazon, those are almost always above 385nm on the spectrum and will emit a bright purple light that can wash-out and flourescent dye you are trying to find. You know it's serious when it comes with a 22650 battery (and charger).
